i look at myself in the mirror and find myself really pretty.the problem is some of the women i know are really fat and does not have great dressing sense or anything like that .but they seem to complement each other like"wow..ur beautiful,ur gorgeous etc".iam like 5.4,slim,fair,silky straight hair,good features...but none of them even complement me.infact one of them is always like"u seem to have put on weight,etc".i feel pissed off.i don't feel confident anymore.am i pretty?it's like iam a human being with feelings.how can they do this to me.i know i can't control them.all i want is to know what iam and show them"no matter what u say i know what iam".how do i belive iam pretty.what is the fact?can u help me?thx.

Get over yourself! Just because those women are OVERWEIGHT-not fat, and dont have good fashion doesnt mean they are not beautiful. Just because someone is skinny and has good fashion doesnt mean they are beautiful. So get over yourself and stop worrying about it!!!

U should always remember few things...

1) Don't let the pride hit ur head, that will push u to disaster

2) When others comment that u have put on weight, it means, they are already hit with pride.

3) Move into a good circle where u will be complimented

4) Dress well, but make sure ur beauty is revealed, not in a exposing way.

i have one word for you: haters! if you believe you are the hottest thing since sliced bread, then strut your stuff!! the only one who can give you confidence is yourself. it sounds to me like those fat girls who arent giving you complements are haters! the other thing, true confidence and beauty is something only the person inside knows. if they dont give you a complement, who cares! you dont get confidence through other people. besides, the best compliment wont be from them! it will be from the guy who tries to get your number in front of them when you are all out to lunch! :)

However, beauty is not the same as being skinny.

And on another note; beauty is all in the eye of the beholder. While one can think your straight silky locks are stunning, another might think otherwise because they prefer curly or wavy hair.

One thing you should remember though; being confident is being beautiful. ;-)

If one woman tells you to gain weight, but you feel pretty the way you are, tell them that you don't want to gain weight, and make them understand that since you don't go around saying they should lose weight, it's not up to them to tell you you should gain weight either.

Tell them you need to feel respected the way you are.

Do keep in mind btw that overweight women can still be pretty, and overweight is not necessarily fat!

It would also help to find some friends, or boyfriend maybe, who will tell you you are beautiful.

beauty is not something which can be seen in the mirror .it is something to admire ,something to enjoy,it is not important how beautiful you are but it is important that you are not ugly.think yourself the most beautiful woman of the world and you are one .it applies to all aspects of life . feel the joy of a not of a beautiful body but a beautiful mind.

They are playing the oldest trick in the book. They are simply jealous of you. They know you are pretty, but they don't want to accept it because then their ego will get hurt.

You should ignore their comments and be natural. Don't try things to impress them. Try to do things that will make you feel happy from within.

Because maybe u r beautiful, n they no that n they r jealous. Women bring others, especially other women, down by makin these kind of catty, bitchy remarks,

Honey, beauty comes from the inside out. And it's not very "Beautiful" to call others "Fat" and criticize how they dress, ya know?

They may not compliment you because they could sense that you feel that you look better than they do. Do you ever compliment them?

But, anyhow - that aside - don't worry about what others think. If you see yourself as pretty, that's all that matters. People have different ideas of what is beautiful, after all.
