She had a big scab along her neck/back. Her vet wasn't open and she had a grooming appt. Her groomer said her skin looked healthy and there were no rashes, her skin wasn't dry, etc.
However,She has continued to rip her hair out and shed tremendously. I brought her to the vet Tuesday and asked if the scab was possibly a tick (she has no fleas and is on advantix). they said no tick just a scab. Now she has like 6 scabs down her spine and is miserable. I gave her benydryl (vet gave me dosage for her weight and said it was ok to give to her until they reopen this tuesday).
She does not get human food, she is on Canidae lamb and rice food and is an inside dog. So I am confused to how it could be allegries.. except for she does go to daycamp 1-2 times a week just to socialize. Any ideas on what this could be or what else I could do to soothe her, I feel horrible for her.

Do you think it could be the Advantix ? Sounds like it's the same spots that it would be applied.

has she been playing with another dog ? my mates dog has got the same thing and its where her and another dog play fight and they bite eachothers necks
